Week Five: Building a website using Wix

 How to make a website using Wix:

  1. Click Create New Site



2. Sign Up using your Google Account

3. What kind of website you are creating.



4. Name your website.


5. Click on Design Site on the top right corner of the screen.


6. Click on Pick a Template




7. . You can choose any template you want for your website, but remember that you will need to edit and customise all of the Wix template images, and you should pick a layout appropriate for your continuation route. 




8. Begin editing your website and taking screenshots or using the snipping tool to show how you change the template to your design. 


9. Begin by adding your own pictures, logos and images for your home page.





10. Start by introducing yourself and explaining the purpose of your website.



11. Add your smart concept or your major project details in the same page as above.




12. Create a page that includes your contact information, such as your Instagram and Blogger accounts, as well as your email address and phone number.

    Good start, be more descriptive,. When writing your comment you need to describe what you did and the descisions that you made, for examaple,. I created my website using wix. I began by following the online instructions and then picking a template to customise.
    GIve the reader a sence of what you did and what you are trying to achieve.

For this post, I will share my research about the national flower of The United Arab Emirates, the Tribulus Omannense. I will create a boutique hotel in Jumeirah Village Circle, Dubai, for my project. I will symbolise the country with the nation's flower, Tribulus Omannense. Since a boutique hotel is targeted at travellers, the concept of my hotel is inspired by the flower. Tribulus Omanense is a small flowering plant in the Zygophyllaceae family. As I haven't decided whether to add my phone number or not, I have included a random number for now. This post will be about my research on boutique hotels. The simplest definition of a boutique hotel is “a small, sophisticated, and fashionable business or establishment“. (Giulietta, 2024) Boutique hotels are mainly for people who travel for a short time and want a personalised experience during their stay. The boutique hotel interests me because of its size and the difference in experience compared to a typical hotel. The main reason behind this is that boutique hotels have better quality control, ensuring the guest experiences a comfortable stay. The attention to detail in these hotels' design makes them unique.
