First Term Project
Initially, my idea was to design buildings that can withstand any weather conditions and are more sustainable. In the United Kingdom, there are four seasons in a year, and some buildings are not designed to withstand different weather conditions. For instance, during winter, people going inside shopping malls still feel cold, which makes them uncomfortable despite being inside a building. Therefore, I decided to design buildings with suitable materials that can withstand any temperature throughout the year. The aim is to make people feel comfortable everywhere they go, ensuring their safety and well-being.HOW CAN A BUILDING BE SUSTAINABLE?
What is Sustainable?
Sustainable construction means building with renewable and recyclable resources and materials. During construction projects, care must be taken to reduce waste and energy consumption where possible and protect the natural environment around the site. The end result of a sustainable construction project must be an environmentally friendly building or environment.

SECOND IDEA
One of my ideas for a project involves addressing a problem in my home country of Malaysia: deforestation. While the government must clear forests to develop the country, finding ways to avoid deforestation is essential. I was thinking about constructing buildings on top of trees as a solution. This would be similar to building a treehouse but on a larger scale.
This idea is excellent as it helps prevent deforestation and creates a new environment for future generations. Moreover, the concept looks appealing and will likely be appreciated by
the current and next generations, especially Gen Z.
However, there are some potential drawbacks to this concept. Some people might feel uncomfortable or scared to immerse themselves in unfamiliar environments. Additionally, the "tree buildings" must have a solid foundation to support the weight of people on top.
