In this post, I will share the process of creating my 3D Outcome.
After I had all the pieces for the 3D outcome, I started to paint them together. When deciding on the colour palette for the boutique hotel, I went for black and grey since it gives off an aesthetic feeling and blends with the buildings around it. Before using black and grey colours, I thought of using grey for the walls and yellow for the roof. This is because, when observed from above, the hotel will resemble the colours of the Tribulus Omannense. Unfortunately, the yellow acrylic colour I have is unsuitable for the roof because it is not the same shade of yellow as the flower. As seen below, this is the results of my work so far. I will continue decorating the project's exterior when I have the materials to do so.
First, I sketch the boutique hotel to better understand the project's shape (as seen below). Then, I cut out templates for each wall separately to precisely glue them together according to the dimensions. I used wood boards that were 4mm thick so that it was easy to glue them together. After cutting the templates, I went to the wood workshop to begin cutting each piece of the walls. As seen below, I sand the edge of the walls so that when glued together, the edge of the wood will not be visible, and it will have a smooth and uniform surface for all parts of the walls.
